ما يتطلبه Singapore

Under the ECDA Code of Practice (4th Edition, 2025, para. 4.4) and the Early Childhood Development Centres Act and Regulations, the Principal or Key Personnel together with a minimum number of programme staff must hold Child First Aid and AED certification accredited by the Singapore Resuscitation and First Aid Council, present during operating hours. For a Class B or C licence this means at least three certified programme staff during programme hours, with more as enrolment grows, while infant care carries its own staffing thresholds. Certification is renewed on a two-year cycle.

The ECDA Code of Practice requires centres to obtain a medically-signed Action Plan for Anaphylaxis for each high-risk child and to keep that child's prescribed medication in a readily accessible place — explicitly not locked away — so it can be used immediately when a reaction begins. This makes early recognition and a rehearsed response essential rather than optional. First aid training that covers anaphylaxis turns the written plan into confident, timely action.
